I joined ASA having no theatre or singing experience back in 2005. In my early days as a member, I was impressed by how supportive the teachers and students were, no matter where you were on your learning curve. There is such a ‘can do’ attitude within the faculty and that is disseminated down to the students and everyone wants to achieve their very best.

We welcome you to sit in on your childs first lesson to see how we work, that your child is safe and happy, and that they enjoy the session. We do kindly ask after this that parents wait in our waiting room on the ground floor (or a lot of parents use the time to nip into Aldi next door). Over our years of teaching, we find that students do work a lot better on their own, are more vocal and open with teachers, and lose their inhibitians. Progress is much faster. Can I have my lessons online?

YES! Online lessons are available to students over the age of 8. Anyone under the age of 16 will require a parent or guardian to be listening in to the call for safety purposes.
