SINGING EXAMS
As a student of the academy, you can choose to be entered for singing exams (Music Theatre or Popular Music Vocalas) with the London College of Music examination board. The board is accredited by Ofqual, DfES and CCEA, with the higher grades contributing towards UCAS points.

Our singing exam preparations support GCSE music & A-Levels in Performing Arts, and can be entered from Step 1 right through to Grade 8 and Diploma levels.
We are proud of our 100% pass rate, and consistently achieve exceptional exam results, with over 90% being awarded the highest mark of 'Distinction'.
​
We are a London College of Music exam centre, and all exams are taken on site, at our studios.

We are encouraged to take part in shows that ASA specifically organise for the students to showcase their talent which is just such a fantastic opportunity to allow your confidence to grow. I really do feel part of a wonderful family and thoroughly enjoy being a part of something so special.
I joined ASA having no theatre or singing experience back in 2005. In my early days as a member, I was impressed by how supportive the teachers and students were, no matter where you were on your learning curve. There is such a ‘can do’ attitude within the faculty and that is disseminated down to the students and everyone wants to achieve their very best.
