LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA:

PERFORMANCE

LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA
IN PERFORMANCE ARTS

DANCE OR MUSICAL THEATRE

ASA Theatre Arts provide revolutionary training in performance arts, balancing rigorous technique principles across all disciplines, whilst promoting creativity and artistic identity for performers at the start of their professional training.

Our one year vocational training will launch students towards a successful career in the Performing Arts, whether that be as a West End performer, cabaret or cruise entertainer, or performing arts teacher. Our focus is to meticulously guide and prepare students for drama school and dance college auditions, proudly integrating The Dang Level 4 Diploma in Performance Arts through the year. Taught by industry professionals from September to May, our specialised, technical training across a three day week, allows for the intensive development of triple threat skills, whilst allowing time for students to work, study and rehearse in their own time.

Our career-focused approach includes classes across all disciplines of singing, dancing and acting, practising for auditions, and preparing both mentally and physically for one of the most challenging, yet rewarding of careers.

At around half the cost of equivalent courses in London, the total fees for the intensive 28 week course are £4950. This includes exam entry fees. Term 1 (£2200) is to be paid before 1st August 2023, followed by termly (£1375) or monthly (£550) payment plans.

OUR PROGRAM

You can choose from Dance or Musical Theatre pathways, however both pathways have a triple threat focus, as needed within the industry. Our program of excellence boasts an intensive three day week, 9.15am - 4pm in Hinckley, Leicestershire, taught solely by industry performers from West End, theatre, dance companies, TV, film and cabaret.

Classes are individually tailored to the strengths of each student, and streamlined to current abilities, giving a personalised training approach for every student to excel at their own pace. Due to the nature of smaller year groups, every student is nurtured, supported, challenged and equally important.

Students perform extensively over the course of the year, working in a professional rehearsal environment, with a wide variety of directors and choreographers. Performances may include theatrical showcases, studio performances, events such as Move It & Can You Dance? (auditioned full school opportunity), project work, and solo performances (dance and vocal), with each year culminating in a public, full-scale college production show. A standard of excellence, positive working environment and supportive peer group is promoted, both in the classroom and performance setting.
